About FASAL 2.0

The web portal based geospatial crop yield estimation system is planned to be developed for operational implementation of the semi-physical model to estimate yield of 6 crops (Transplanted Rice, Soybean, Cotton, Wheat, Mustard and Gram) out of the total 10 targeted crops under FASAL 2.0 program of MoA&FW. The system will be operational at KRISHI-DSS of MoA&FW as well as VEDAS portal of SAC, ISRO. This will generate the planting date, periodical biomass and yield of the targeted crops of India at district and state level automatically at defined time interval.
